Neonatal Outreach Education and Training

UMC Children’s Hospital is committed to optimizing neonatal care and outcomes throughout the region. As a level IV NICU, we are dedicated to being a valuable resource for education and services.

Education Offerings (upon request)

Neonatal Simulation
Procedure Workshops (intubation, emergency line placement, needle aspiration of pneumothorax, IV insertion)
Post-delivery care of a newborn
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
STABLE Program
Education can be created/offered for specific hospital needs.
Collaboration with labor & delivery team to provide maternal education

Please complete the education request form with details regarding the education needed. Our NICU outreach team will reach out to you for scheduling and details.

UMCCH offers monthly virtual education via Teams on a continuous rotation through neonatal, pediatric, and maternal topics. This education takes place the second Tuesday of each month at 0830 CST and is available to anyone. CNE hours offered.
