UMC is the only hospital system in the region with both a Pediatric Level II Trauma designation and a Level I Trauma designation, making us your most trusted source for care. Additionally, UMC Children’s Hospital’s special partnership with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center allows Texas Tech’s Department of Surgery to provide surgical care for our region’s infants and children. Pediatric specialists include trauma surgeons, burn surgeons, neurosurgeons, and other critical care staff.
