Our 40-Year Partnership with Children’s Miracle Network
Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) is a nonprofit organization that raises funds for more than 170 premier children’s medical centers and hospitals across the United States and Canada, including ours. With their help, and yours, we’re well equipped to serve our region’s children and to continue developing leading-edge pediatric programs, such as:
- Advanced life support machines, giving our sickest patients access to the first Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) machines in the country.
- Recognized cancer trial program, ensuring our young cancer patients have access to today’s most promising treatments.
- Comprehensive trauma care, supporting patients with the most critical pediatric injuries – and their families.
- One-of-a-kind burn care, providing access through the UMC Children’s Pediatric Burn Care Center, the first and only of its kind in the region.
- Highly specialized intensive care, pioneering critical care for children – and operating the region’s first pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) as well as a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

This annual CMN Broadcast shares the inspiring stores of our Miracle Kids, ashowcases advances in care and raises funds to support our ongoing work.
